Sorry for my absence, but I am back. - Daemon Forest "Dissonant Walk"

Hello readers and followers of my blog.

First of all, sorry for my absence. I am not done with my blog as some may approached me about it. I have been sick lately, and had been in the Hospital doing some exams and stuff. But I am all better now, and I am back to share some more stuff with you.

I am going to share a project of mine that I have with a friend. It is a black metal act named Daemon Forest. I play drums, and the band is made out of two members: Sharkuel (Me) and Azazel.

Azazel handled the lyrical work, as well the vocals and the guitar. Honestly he is the main creative force behind the project. I was the drummer in this project, and also I handled the recording, mixing and master of the EP.

We released our 1st EP on April the 24th, and we are selling some physical copies of it. We have a limited, hand numbered, tape edition if you are interested on our project. If you desire a physical copy, we can arrange it if you send us a request through the band's e-mail address "daemonforest@gmail.com".

This is the remaster of the 1st recording. I made it while I was at home sick. This differs a bit from the EP since it had a digital treatment. The EP was recorded on a tape recorder, and it is fully analogue, and thus sounds more organic.

Also, we currently have a GoFundMe that is meant for you to help us. We lost the place where we used to make rehearsals and record, so we are a little bit tied up here.

You can check the full story and support us through the link GoFundMe Daemon Forest Band

Due to ethical reasons, I will not make a review about my own work, but there is a review out there, though in Portuguese, you can read it in the Metal Imperium website.

Also, we have our work on Spotify, Google Play, Windows Groove, Itunes, etc, just do a quick search and support our work there.

The graphical artist, Filipe Correia, deserves all the credit here. And if you are pleased with the band's logo, you can check his work at jef and ANIMAL. He also was a great help to arrange some tapes to be sent to the EUA and Australia.

Also, special thanks for all the people who already supported us and believed in our work.
